Event Registration Technician
Location: Leusden, Netherlands
Hours: 20-40 per week
How does the job look like?
You're essentially a jack-of-all-trades, which is what makes the job so varied. You'll ensure that materials like laptops and printers are tested and prepared, transported to site, assembled, and then disassembled and returned to the warehouse in Leusden (NL). You'll work in a small team and be responsible for all logistics and your own planning. So, being able to work independently is essential. We are located in Leusden. Because we sometimes need to act quickly, we recommend applying only if you live in the Utrecht or Amersfoort area.
What might a typical day look like?
In the morning, you prepare the last of the materials in the warehouse and check the customer's configuration against the call sheet. Upon arrival on-site, you review the setup and prepare the materials. Once everything is tested, calibrated, and ready for use, you briefly review everything with the customer so you can hand over.
On the way back, you pick up some more materials from another location, and back in the warehouse, you ensure everything is properly tested, counted, and prepared for the next events. Then it's off home quickly, because tomorrow you'll be setting up in Brussels.
Country Lead Germany
Location: Düsseldorf, Germany or Leusden, Netherlands
Hours: 20-40 per week
How does the job look like?
Our new country lead oversees the German market and invites potential leads to explore how Holon can make their live easy. We allow software companies to scale without additional investments in hardware, staffing and logistics. While we support professional organizers and agencies with expertise and hardware on their own application. You understand what is needed and how you bring people together.
You will be the frontrunner in Germany and will be supported by the Dutch team with all resources, logistics and expertise.
What might a typical day look like?
You start the day with finishing a proposal for an agency that was looking for a onsite registration provider. This is a good opportunity to partner with the agency for all future events.
Just before noon, you will have a call with the Dutch team. They are working on an international tour and want to discuss the lead retrieval approach, and how you think this would work best in Germany.
In the afternoon, you have a meeting with a potential new client in Cologne. Your pitch has improved over time, and you're confident you'll receive a RFP for their annual meeting, later this year in Munich.
Our technicians are preparing for an event tomorrow, also in Cologne, so you will drop by to meet briefly with the team and customer. In the train back home, you complete your registration to join a trade show as participant next month.
Onsite Support Agent
Location: Netherlands, Germany, Spain and United Kingdom
Hours: part-time / freelance
How does the job look like?
An onsite support agent makes sure the hardware keeps on running smoothly, and all onsite questions and requests are followed up. You will often be the main contact for the hospitality staff and instruct them on the use of the used application; all super intuitive and straight forward.
The shifts often start early, about 1-2 hours before the actual registration opens. You will do some final checks on the printers, welcome the hospitality staff and check the routing for the attendees before the first exhibitors, speakers and participants will arrive to collect their name badge or receive instructions on the use of the events app or lead retrieval solution.
Most of our events take place in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, however - since we support events in the full EMEA region, this is not limited to the 4 main countries.
